60s'!

If you haven't read the earlier posts, I have dedicated this week to my high school's Decade Week. Each day is a different decade from the 90s' to the 50s'.

I change my mind, today was my favorite outfit! Not only are the 60s' my favorite decade, but they are also home to one of my fashion icons, Edie Sedgwick. I love love love her awesome style! :) Instead of doing a stereotype of the decade like I've been, I chose to emulate Edie.

This is her.

70s'!

So if you haven't read the earlier ones, I have dedicated the following week to my high school's Decade Week. Each day is a different decade from the 90s' to the 50s'.

Today was definitely the best outfit (so far)! I found a vest my mom had given me a few years ago just before I walked out the door. It completes the entire outfit. I knew it would come in handy someday! That's why it pays to be a pack-rat. :) I also got tons of comments (and stares) from people while I was walking to school.

Anyways, here's the outfit!

80s'!

Okay, so if you haven't read the earlier ones, I have dedicated the following week to my high school's Decade Week. Each day is a different decade from 90s' to 50s'.

80s' day was definitely more popular than yesterday :) Also, more fun. I didn't look like a hobo quite as much as I did in my 90s' attire. Anywho, here's my outfit for the day (my hair was a lot poofier this morning!) You can't tell, but I'm also wearing purple hoops and electric blue eyeliner. :)

90s'!

So today I came fully dressed in 90s' attire, and nobody else was! I mean nobody! :( I still had fun, feeling very school spirited/dorky. The rest of the week is still on though. There's no way I'm passing up a whole week of awesome dressing.

So, here's my outfit. Sorry I'm in a weird angle, I just didn't have the energy to clear a spot to stand in. :)

Sorry it's been so long...

I've been pretty busy with college stuff and the like, so I completely forgot about the blog! Anyhoo, to make it up to you, I've decided to dedicate this next week to my high school spirit week! Everyday is a different decade, and I have decided to take the plunge to do all of them! I will do quick blurb about each decade and show you my outfit for the day! This is the agenda:

Monday: 90s'
Tuesday: 80s'
Wednesday: 70s'
Thursday: 60s'
Friday: 50s'

It's going to be an exciting week!! :)

Kat Dennings

Ever since I saw her in Charlie Bartlett, I have loved the style Ms. Dennings brings to the table. Maybe it's the fact that she a curvy girl (like me) who pulls off great style, or maybe it's just the fearless attitude she adopts while wearing them. Whatever it is, I can't help but love her.
